I was looking at my RSS feeds today and read about a wildlife ranger in Kenya - also a member of the Masai tribe - who is using a blog and Flickr to help promote his work and save his wildlife park.
Take a look at the blog, it's really compelling and you can feel the urgency of Joseph Kimojino's mission. I'll warn you, they do solicit for money for their cause which is understandable. However, even if that idea turns you off, it's still a worthwhile blog to view even if it's one time. Also, it does detail a lot of the harsh realities of the Mara Triangle wildlife park. If you are like me, those things can be difficult to read (I usually avoid wildlife specials because I've seen enough death and suffering on TV throughout the years) but again, they are crucial pieces of information for understanding and appreciating the situation in these places.
The blog itself can be found here: http://maratriangle.wildlifedirect.org/
